To promote safety and comfort, we have taken these steps for the benefit of our clients and staff:
We take the safety of you and our employees very seriously. We want to keep everyone as safe as possible during this pandemic, and so we will do our best to minimize risks for everyone. NOTE: For those who are immune compromised and those who are otherwise particularly susceptible to respiratory infections or blood clots, we recommend that you delay getting massage therapy for now. There is ongoing research that will provide greater clarity regarding safety and risk mitigation over the next few months, and we will welcome you back when it is appropriate for us to do so. NO SHOW / CANCELLATION POLICIES
These policies honor our therapists’ time and commitment to your scheduled appointment. Massage is our therapists’ livelihood and we take this seriously. We require a credit card to schedule appointments. ILLNESS: If you have a fever, severe cold, the flu, or anything else potentially contagious, you should not have a massage. This includes known recent exposure to infectious disease while traveling outside the country; please delay scheduling a session until after the incubation period has expired (this may be up to three weeks). If you have a skin infection or other diagnosed skin condition, you may need to delay getting a massage or remain clothed for your session. If in doubt, call us to ask. If you are ill, please call as soon as possible to cancel your appointment at no charge. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment when you are well again. COVID-19 SCREENING CANCELLATION: If you arrive for your appointment and our COVID-19 screening prevents you from entering the business, we will cancel your appointment at no charge and invite you to return in a few weeks. 24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY: We ask that you give 24 hours notice to change or cancel your appointment. If the client fails to give 24 hours notice and we are not able to fill the appointment we will charge 50% of the session fee. If we can fill the spot, the client will not be charged. SAME-DAY SCHEDULING POLICY: If the client makes an appointment within 24 hours of their appointment and cancels the day of their appointment, they will be charged 50% of their session fee. If we can fill that spot, the client will not be charged. SCHEDULING FOR PARTIES OF 2 OR MORE: If the clients fail to give 24 hours notice, both clients will be charged 50% of the session fee. If either client fails to show up, they will be charged 100% of the session fee. NO-SHOW POLICY: If the client fails to show up for their appointment and does not call to cancel, they will be charged 100% of the session fee. SAFETY MEASURES POLICY: If you refuse to complete your paperwork, or follow any other policies related to the safety of our staff and other clients, you will be refused entrance and charged 100% of the session fee. If this is your first visit to Eagan Massage Center, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out confidential client intake forms. You will provide critical health information and have a chance to review it with your therapist so you get the most out of your massage. You’ll discuss the reason for your visit and your therapist will answer any questions you may have. If possible, please fill out any new client health history paperwork prior to arrival. These forms must be completed prior to the start of your massage, and any time required to finish them is part of your scheduled appointment time.
