EMC Connects with Students

Eagan Massage Center upholds high standards in massage therapy, customer service, and ethical business conduct. Part of this involves facilitating continuing education for our current massage therapists and supporting excellent entry-level preparation for new massage therapists, particularly at local massage therapy training programs.

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, EMC co-owner Kelly Thompson spoke at length with massage therapy students at the Minnesota School of Cosmetology (MSC) in Woodbury. She shared many of her experiences before and after becoming a massage therapist, and talked about the various challenges of having a solo practice vs a practice with multiple massage therapists. 

The MSC students were impressed with her professionalism and how clearly she presented information about education, interviewing, managing a practice, and EMC. Kelly did a great job answering their questions, and some of them indicated a strong interest in applying to work at EMC when they complete their training.
